Hello there! We are The Coleys, and we're both filmmakers and artistic directors of a nonprofit called Art Within. Our first project? A feature documentary called A Kingdom of Tea & Strangers.

A Kingdom of Tea & Strangers is a feature documentary chronicling one summer at English L'Abri, a short-term community providing shelter for spiritually-homeless people and a hospitable space for honest questions. The film follows a group of students from around the world as they grapple with finding spirituality and belonging in their lives back home. Our film had its first showing at The Belcourt Theatre in Nashville on August 29th!

Now, we're raising the funds for a US release tour throughout Autumn 2024. If you'd like to host an in-person showing & discussion at your church or in your community, don't hesitate to get in touch at thecoleys@labridocumentary.com! And you can learn about our next scheduled screenings here.

If you’d like to support the film's release and Art Within's upcoming documentary projects in 2025, you can donate using Visa/PayPal by clicking here or send a check to Art Within Inc. at the address below. Art Within is a 501(c)(3) company and donations are tax-deductible.
